  • Display food provenance and source.

  • Include features for saving, undoing, resetting and completing orders.

  • Work for the 8 target users (needs and preferences).

  • Display B-Corp status and tag line ‘Who Says’

DESIGN SOLUTION

An elegant, easy and simple salad mobile app prototype that addresses the needs and preferences of its 8 users. The design also displays all key information about the business and the brand.

TOOLS & SOFTWARE

  • Figma

  • Autodesk Sketchbook

  • Analogue Sketches

BACKGROUND

The purpose of this project was to understand the needs of the 8 target users and design an app prototype that would address them. The project also involved understanding and incorporating key information about the business and the brand on the app design.

RESEARCH

Primary and secondary research were undertaken for this project. Market research was deployed as part of secondary research to inform design decisions. For primary research, user testing was conducted involving 4 different participants. Testing results were utilised to refine and improve the final design.

PROBLEMS & OPPORTUNITIES

The main challenge on this project was to address the needs and preference of 8 different users with completely different needs. Opportunities included designing highly visual interfaces and graphically displaying the order process and making obvious the current stage.

DESIGN SOLUTION

An elegant and highly visual salad mobile app prototype that addresses the needs and preferences of its 8 users. This user friendly design also displays all key information about the business and the brand, such as its B-Corp status and food provenance.
